How many people do you need to host a private workshop?
We like to have a minimum of 8 and can accommodate a maximum of 16 - 30 participants between our locations depending on how large the DIY Project is.
Do you host off site or home parties?
Yes, I'm excited to share that we are starting to host home parties. We also love to go to business locations that can accommodate staff workshops for Team Building or Staff Appreciation, for example.
Are these projects something that everyone can make, even if they don't think they're creative?
We take you through a step-by-step process so that everyone feels successful and proud to showcase their handmade décor in their home. From the non-crafter to the experienced DIYer, we offer projects that everyone will enjoy.
Can we bring food and beverages?
Yes, however, each location can accommodate different needs based on group party size. We are happy to discuss the details – contact us at 778.571.2400 for more information!
How do I book a workshop project and date?
Quickest way is to call us at 778.571.2400 or email email@example.com
Note that we need a minimum 7 days' notice to prepare for your group.
How does the rest of the group pay?
We will set up a unique link for you to share with your group so they can individually pay online through our website at www.homeworksetc.ca. All registrations must be made no later than 5 days prior to the event.
Your registration confirms your attendance for the workshop.
- If you cannot attend a workshop AND provide minimum 24 hours’ advance notification: there is no monetary refund, however, you will be granted a credit to attend the same workshop or a workshop of equal value within 90 days. Please provide 7 days’ advance notice by email for the replacement/credit workshop you wish to attend. Your credit is invalid after 90 days.
- If you cannot attend a workshop AND do not provide minimum 24 hours’ advance notification: there is no monetary refund and no credit towards another workshop.
What if there's some extra clean-up or repair needed after our DIY party?
We totally understand that sometimes 'things happen!' Should there be a mishap beyond ordinary wear and tear in using our space, you will be responsible for the additional clean-up service or repair expense. Life happens!
